About the speaker: Lauren Meffen, CCC-SLP, CLT, is a speech-language pathologist, certified lymphedema therapist, and entrepreneur at heart. She values her patients and fellow colleagues desiring to grow their knowledge in our field. Lauren strives to create resources for families, caregivers, and clinicians to improve the evaluation and management of the whole patient. Lauren has specialized training and teaches nationwide in management of head & neck cancer, Trismus intervention, lymphedema management of the head & neck following surgeries and cancer, respiratory muscle strength training for the SLP, PT, RT, or OT, as well as business development and growth of successful insurance-based private practice. She has successfully developed programs in her community for the outpatient with voice and swallow disorders while keeping the patient at the center of her promise.
