“I used this for my Dad, as he was on thickened liquids/difficulty swallowing as well as his voice quality was low after being intubated a few times. He used it for 2 weeks – 2 times a day per the training program. Unfortunately, my Dad ended up in the hospital and wasn’t able to continue the training. but the short time he did use it – did make a noted difference in his swallowing and voice quality. Thank you for this device – it helped in my Dad’s recovery. It is very important to follow the training program.”

“I almost lost my voice completely by the end of the day. I have been using the strengthener for about a month. My voice is much better on the days I use the strengthener. It does take a commitment. You need to use it 5 days, 5 sets, 5 puffs in each set.”

“It is easy to use. My speech therapist advised me to use this device as an exercise to help in my swallowing and speech therapy (a result of my Parkinson’s disease). It is easy to use, sturdy, and effective. I did find it hard to blow through it at first but applying the correct amount of effort solved that problem (that must be why they call me a “blow-hard”). I continue to use it several times each day to continue strengthening the muscles I use in swallowing and speech.”
